Beauty
seller insurance guides.
From a first skincare launch to a growing cosmetics range: understand the category question, review formulas and prepare an accurate application.
Below $10,000 a month? You can still start an estimate.
What to focus on
Start with formulas, intended use and product claims. Cosmetics and skincare guides explore different parts of the same beauty business, so choose the product range closest to yours.
These are editorial product groups. Check exact Amazon category definitions before deciding whether the November requirement applies to a listing. Read the policy overview.
Cosmetics
A small makeup range can contain very different products: a powder palette, a liquid foundation and a lip treatment are not interchangeable descriptions for an insurer. Start with the products customers actually receive, including sets and private-label lines.

Read the guideAmazon policy source: Commercial liability insurance announcement, checked September 8, 2026. Product checklists and examples are Assureful editorial guidance, not Amazon’s complete category list.
For Mainland China sellers, Amazon’s separate AIA requirement also applies from November 2: new policies submitted must be obtained through AIA; compliant third-party policies submitted beforehand can continue until expiry. Assureful’s current application supports businesses based in the United States and Hong Kong.
