Build a clear picture of your range
Do not use generator as a shorthand for a battery power station without explanation. State whether the unit is battery-based or fuel-powered so both classification and insurance discussions use the same facts.
Use the checklist below to organise information for an insurance review. It is a preparation aid, not a statement that every document is required in the first application screen. The reviewer may ask for more detail based on your products and business.
Your product information checklist
Power and storage specifications
Gather model numbers, battery chemistry where present, capacity and manufacturer-stated output ratings.
Inputs and bundled components
List the charging arrangements and every accessory supplied or sold separately.
Supplier and product documents
Identify manufacturers and organise model-specific specifications and user instructions.
Sales and range breakdown
Prepare projections and distinguish the different power-product lines in your records.
Enter accurate details in your estimate
Start with your main product category, business location and sales figure. Assureful's initial estimate lets you select monthly or annual sales. Use the period that matches your figure; a $3,000 monthly projection is different from $3,000 annually.
You can begin below $10,000 a month. Do not increase the figure to meet an assumed minimum or omit products that may need review. If your range spans categories, be ready to explain it as the application progresses. Product and business eligibility remain subject to underwriting.
Know what comes after an estimate
An indicative estimate helps you explore pricing; it does not put insurance in force. Complete the required review, examine any offered terms and confirm that a policy has been issued before treating the business as insured.
If Amazon requires proof, check the business details on the issued documents, submit them through the instructions in Seller Central and follow up on their status. Keep a copy of the policy and the product information supplied during the review.
Common questions
Do I need every checklist item to see an initial estimate?
The first estimate screen asks for your main product category, business location and sales. This guide helps you prepare for any further review; additional information may be requested before terms or coverage can be offered.
Can I apply with less than $10,000 in monthly sales?
Yes. Assureful's application accepts sales figures below $10,000 a month. Use your actual sales or a reasonable projection. An estimate does not guarantee product eligibility, an issued policy or Amazon's acceptance of your documents.

For Mainland China sellers, Amazon’s separate AIA requirement also applies from November 2: new policies submitted must be obtained through AIA; compliant third-party policies submitted beforehand can continue until expiry. Assureful’s current application supports businesses based in the United States and Hong Kong.
