Home safety
seller insurance guides.
Guides for fire extinguisher, smoke alarm and detector businesses. Start with the actual protective function and the exact product classification.
Below $10,000 a month? You can still start an estimate.
What to focus on
Smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors and other gas detectors are distinct products. Give the insurer model-level information and disclose any installation or maintenance services.
These are editorial product groups. Check exact Amazon category definitions before deciding whether the November requirement applies to a listing. Read the policy overview.
Fire extinguishers
Fire extinguishers are sold for a specific protective purpose. An insurance conversation should identify the actual models, their stated use and your role in sourcing or importing them, rather than stopping at home safety equipment.

Product checklists and examples are Assureful editorial guidance, not Amazon’s complete category list.
For Mainland China sellers, Amazon’s separate AIA requirement also applies from November 2: new policies submitted must be obtained through AIA; compliant third-party policies submitted beforehand can continue until expiry. Assureful’s current application supports businesses based in the United States and Hong Kong.
